Mini EMpowered runs in a dedicated space at OEC Sheffield, with plenty of room for children and staff. Soft play, messy play, quiet time and a sleep space - all looked after by a warm, experienced team who are brilliant with children of every age and temperament.

Advance notice is required
Because we maintain staff-to-child ratios, we need to know in advance if you're planning to use Mini EMpowered. You'll confirm your child's name and age on your pre-event form. Please don't just turn up on the day - and you're welcome to pop in any time.
Being a mum is never a reason you can't be in the room
Your children are welcome. We'll look after them.
What to bring
Mini EMpowered provides the space, activities and SEND specialist staff. Please bring everything your child needs for a full day:
- Nappies and wipes (if applicable)
- Food and snacks - clearly labelled
- Milk or formula (if applicable)
- Comfort items - favourite toy, blanket, dummy
- Change of clothes
- Any medication (with clear written instructions)
- Buggy or pram if needed - storage available
What's provided
Inside the room, there's plenty to keep every age happily occupied:
- Soft play area
- Messy play - arts, crafts and sensory activities
- Quiet corner - books, puzzles and calm activities
- Sleep space - cots and sleep mats available
- Age-appropriate toys and equipment throughout

Mini EMpowered exists because being a mum is never a reason you can't be in the room. You deserve to be here. Your children are welcome. We'll look after them.
